2

Yo, Zelda theorists!
Is it just me or does the mystery goddess look kind of... owl-like? We know the Zonai looked at owls as wise beings, and the long horns and piercing eyes are reminiscent of an owl. Thoughts?

So it wouldn't be a stretch to assume other elements might be coming back. The Twili have already been theorised to have links to the Zonai. Perhaps even being the same people.

I also believe that's likely.

this concept art for the portals mentions that the twilight realm design was possibly inspired by the "ancient chinese style." the zonai's statues of dragons are very reminiscent of the ancient chinese dragon artworks.

this helmet looks similar to a dragon imo, specifically the zonai's depiction. also worth noting that ganondorf from twilight princess has a zonai dragon on his outfit

The ouroboros dragons in the logo is actually the Zonai dragons that appear in BotW!

Did you miss the strong red overtones and similarities in the markings on their clothes, ALONG with the how much the Hero's Shade's armor resembles the Zonai armor?
