そして2人の弟・直房公が、初代八戸藩主となります。
1665年(1664年?) 〜幕末までの短い期間ですが飢饉と闘いながら大名として奮闘しました。
ちなみに最後の八戸藩主は薩摩藩主、島津重豪(しげひで)公の5男・信順(のぶゆき)公だよ!
