5. LINEART RECOVERY
Accidentally lined over your sketch and you're too far out to start over, or you accidentally merged them a while ago? Greyscale your layer and toggle with the contrast a bit, and if necessary, luminosity>transparency!
1. EASY COLOURED LINES
Duplicate your colours layer and clip it to your lineart layer. Boost the saturation and play with the luminosity. You can also blur it a little. Fix any little details. Boom, coloured lines without the hassle.

Series titled 'Undercurrents' to examine feelings, trauma tucked away in the deep by bringing light, color and luminosity to those dark places. What lies beneath the surface is often unseen but not forgotten. Always remember. #MemorialDay2020
So I was playing around and set my paint folder to 'screen' and I hope I find a way to incorporate it in the final product but if not i still wanna be able to look at it cause I really like it
also some others i thought looked kinda neat (lumi & shade, luminosity, overlay)
20”w x 24”h UNTITLED acrylic on canvas. Trying not to get hung up on specifics.. like “water” “fire” etc Just exploring luminosity, energy..

@nickfshort I have to admit I’m fond of this one because of its luminosity, the sea and the little hen. You turn (no rush)😊
#90MINARTCHALLENGE #5
Feeling a bit lazy today for interpretations so I just studied the luminosity of the original picture (I'll post the links in the comments)

fellas, using a reference picture is fucking broken
comes at a price of having 4 luminosity and 4 shade layers when im already capping out on layers :(
This depiction of 'The Burial of Christ' (1595) by Annibale Carracci is deeply moving as the somber figures are lit by a torch enveloping the burial chamber in an otherworldly luminosity.
@MochiiShiima You can try airbrushing and then setting the layer to add glow/luminosity if that's an option :0 if not you can use a normal layer, airbrush the least saturated color in the middle and most saturated on then outside (here's a bad example but it gets the point across)
I've been playing with inverting the luminosity my drawings to create bioluminescence. It's a great effect with the right subject matter!
Which one do you like better?
(Original drawing was about 3"x5" micron pen with watercolor wash.)
yup, dropping saturation by 20% and increasing luminosity by makes these pieces a lot easier on the eyes.
I'm pretty comfortable calling these pages done at this point.
got a couple concepts for the cover started, so that's my project for the rest of the week.
6º Passo: Penúltimo passo vindo com muito brilhinho e estrelinhas, SOCORROH Q EU TO MORRENDO DE AMORES, mas é isso, joga esses tonzinhos no modo Luminosity que é só sucesso :3
i adjusted the saturation and luminosity and found these freaky waves. pretty interesting
Here's some stuff I did for the little art thingy of 2019.
#Artof2019 #digitalart
I did a shit ton of commissions
I finished a ref of my character, Thallius.
I also learned to love the multiply, overlay, and luminosity thing in Sai.
