The recent casting news finally gave me the push to start the SANDMAN re-read I've wanted to do for years. It still stuns me how much the first volume is entrenched in the DC Universe compared to the rest. We've got Constantine, Etrigan, Dr. Destiny, Scarecrow, Martian Manhunter.
