I've been meaning to practice a quicker, more painterly style, as well as play around more with palettes. So, after being inspired by some of pieces, I got to work doodling out this spooky guy. The palette I used was a five tone one titled "Subtle Melancholy."

The rooftop conversation scene is genuinely one of the best scenes in Crossbell duology (or even the Trails saga, for that matter) and made even better with this song. It's very sweet and nostalgic. Calming, but with a hint of melancholy.

Regardless of what Xenoblade 3 will be, if it were to resemble any aspect of a prior XC experience, I'd like it to emulate Torna's tone.

TGC built its atmosphere to be a perfect blend of charm and grim melancholy. That would be especially effective if XC3 were set on Old Earth.
