Sonic has an internal canon and consistent source material. It's due to poor brand management that it appears fractured.
Satam is officially licensed but not a useful reference, it was made up entirely by third parties. It's like saying that this is a valid reference of Mega Man.

Exactly my point. It doesn't help that even in the SatAm Bible they tried to carve her out as an "attractive" teenage girl, but that doesn't mean her design was inherently the problem. It didn't start out like this, it was the artist's art choice.

And then there’s snivley, originated from SatAM, don’t know aton about him, I think he’s like robotniks punching bag of a cousin who wants to overthrow him, he’s good for SatAM esc robotnik and can be a cool post robotnik antagonist but kinda weak as a side character to him
