First is passable but doesn't pop imo, typical bland Archie design. Second looks really generic. Either way, he doesn't work or reflect what I genuinely like about his early SatAM/comic design. And he's like the rest of the FF because he's never fit in with Sonic and Co.

Yeah I think I remember that too, Swatbots in SatAM kinda felt like they were portrayed in a way that like, Sonic and co. needed to be especially crafty to take these standard footsoldiers down, and I'm like no, Sonic in particular is stronger than that. Look in Archie to compare

If you enjoyed SatAM & the AOSTH toons, the Archie Comics were ways of seeing those stories continue & grow with added game elements as the story progressed. It being a western comic, it has its weird western comic cliches, but when it all worked as a narrative, it worked!

Sally/the FFs don't need to be integrated into mainline canon stuff for good reason

but they should defs get merch or a tribute line of figures by Jakks. Satam/Archie era is over, but it/it's fans should at least be given a lil respect for how BIG its presence was during the 90s
