Before continuing on the #FishABC journey, we jump to #SundayFishSketch (and a belated #inktober2021day18 - "moon") with an Opah or Moonfish circa 2016 (L) and last week (R).
Thanks to @Lampichthys for starting #SundayFishSketch! I LOVE seeing all the 🐟✏ each week 🙌

I’ve been very stressed out lately so I set aside a few hours for a relaxing activity. I haven’t had time for any art recently and it felt so nice. #SundayFishSketch #BaskingShark
First time participating in one of these #SundayFishSketch es, I just realized I messed up the pecs so please don't be too harsh 😅
Went off-theme for today's #SundayFishSketch. Here are a few different varieties of the most famous livebearer fish - Guppy (Poecilia reticulata). Illustrating tail fins was real fun, looking forward to draw more varieties.!!

Today's #SundayFishSketch is an actual sketch for once. I drew a Mexican Tetra (bind cave form). I don't know much about these fish, but from pictures, they look translucent. If anyone knows for sure if they're translucent or not, feel free to let me know!
For this week's #SundayFishSketch of fish found in Canadian waters, I chose a sockeye salmon. Such a cool looking fish!

an older drawing but i wanted to post something for #SundayFishSketch before i go to work because i always forget.
With fins like those, it's probably not surprising that the threadfin rainbowfish (Iriatherina werneri) is a popular aquarium fish! In the wild, they're found in the slow-moving streams and swamps of tropical northern Australia and New Guinea #SundayFishSketch
#SciArtSeptember combined with #SundayFishSketch day 26: "Energy” https://t.co/gAgBL4KW5H
Late on my #SundayFishSketch because I am fortunate enough to be in Maui right now. Here’s one of my favorite snorkel and scuba companions lately: it’s the state fish of Hawaii, the reef triggerfish, otherwise known as humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa!
A species that can create its own light in the pitch-black darkness and has males that are basically just parasitic sperm sacs that fuse to the females - nothing says #otherworldly quite like the deepsea anglerfish #SundayFishSketch #SciArtSeptember
It's #SundayFishSketch and #SciArtSeptember crossover and the theme is 'otherworldly'. Decided to Illustrate a few species of chimaera, a very interesting group of fishes! Once super abundant now restricted to deep sea, close relatives to sharks and rays.

Large mouthed fish are today's #SundayFishSketch theme and I see that basking sharks are getting a lot of attention, so here is a Greenland Basking Shark.
