Fun fact,this part here giving the ilusion of this clothes not being completely opaque is just taking the background color and paint a bit, smooth it and then erasing it following the inner shape(her body in this case)

Apart from proportions, I think a difference in shading style might improve your art. It's very bold and cartoony, and that clashes with the soft brush shading you use. In the end you'd be the judge of that, but try erasing parts of the soft brush to leave a more visible line.
