Day 9 — Pressure.

This was one of the deepest and strongest scenes in the show. Lotor fights with his father, Emperor Zarkon.
I didn't know what to draw here and I'm not satisfied with the result, but... well, I have a long way.

The bad dad Clark thing just kills me every time. Dubbilex is who Kon saw as a dad in his early days of existing, not Clark. Clark & Kon saw each other as *family* but not father & son (because originally they weren’t at all) + Clark never rejected Kon.

I’ve got the book of the same name but I wasn’t aware that there was a recent documentary on Japanese anime/manga creator Satoshi Kon.
I find Kon to be a much more interesting and challenging director than the more popular/influential Miyazaki.

Is this doc’ available in the UK?

I gotta be honest. I'm pretty nervous about September, as a whole. It's the month when big earthquakes have been known to hit in Mexico City. If one actually happens, I'm going back to Canada and live beneath a boulder somewhere in Yukon.
