I have been photographing the moon, too. Full supermoon is from tonight, and the new moon/ first quarter one from 29th March.

There were some clouds in front of it when I took the first photos around 20.30.

After photographing pristine tulips I returned to previously neglected flowers, now in a state of decay, but still a presence in my living space. I am fascinated by the dried and twisted leaves and petals of the flowers. My tulips last a long time!

Yesterday I spent the day photographing some of the Meroitic material in , which originate from the excavations of John Garstang. They were given to Henry Wellcome, a sponsor of the excavation, around 1911. Here's a nice offering table found in tomb 307 at Meroe.

The closest I got to photographing the starry-sky-patterned young yellowtail damselfish zipping in and out of this coral head. The waves kept lifting and dropping me, and I worried they’d drop me onto, uh, another animal in this photo. But the fish really were this starlike.
