I had some trouble with the shadows, but I think I made some progress :)

Enjoy!

We deserve more cats like Rosetail and Rootspring. I'm so fuckin' over brown pelts, gray pelts, black pelts. Get FUN with warrior cat colors. I'm not talking about having pelts be PURPLE, but violet eyed Rootspring? Red eyed Shadowsight? HAIL yeah.

@JasminDarnell Rendering is where I struggled most! I used to think it was a contrast issue, but I think it's the blending. I never know where to put "hard" shadows versus "soft" ones so it ends up looking a bit muddy and one note.
ok, here’s some kinda recent wc designs i made!!
(if you count 2021 as recent!🤣)

Why do I shoot w/ cloth on the floor? To get contact shadows that feel “real." The cloth is replaced by a rock or something else in photoshop. I keep the original contact shadows as one of the multiple ways I trick your eyes into believing the person is standing where they are.

@Mehiflus Hi there! And thank you for the art share! Your skill with shapes and shadows is amazing! Love that Wednesday Mona Lisa piece.
@KatamariKei The skin, the shadows, the light, everything looks so good!
And the wrinkles on the cloth look do realistic! Amazing!
I tried using #CLIPSTUDIOPAINT V2's NEW SHADING ASSIST (left image) for this piece and it was a great feature for making quick shading variations for you to choose from! I added more shadows and highlights for better depth and I think it turned out quite nice! 🤤🫠
"Roi du Ciel"
1st piece of an arc I'll develop: "TITANS".
I always loved to work with scales, spaces, lights, shadows & colors. Along my artistic process I tried many things, portraits, closing up on body parts such eyes, (which I still love to work with), lights, colors,… https://t.co/SIm4skBIUC
