Been on a major Flash kick lately, and I'm amazed that there was a 13-year streak of 3 defining runs back-to-back, from issue 62-225. Mark Waid, Morrison & Millar, then Geoff Johns.
@cowboy_steel I hope him... when he was written by Bill Messner-Loebs and Mark Waid...

"Estou muito animado. Humberto Ramos e eu esperamos por este momento há quase 25 anos! Mal posso esperar para ver o que farão com o nosso menino Bart."
Disse Mark Waid sobre a chegada do personagem na série #TheFlash.

This story is an odd mix of Morrison weirdness, Millar darkness and shock tactics, and old school superheroic storytelling.
A definite change of pace after Mark Waid's run that started back in like #62.
All New, All Different Avengers by Mark Waid
I've never read JLA: Year One, from Waid, Brian Augustyn, Barry Kitson, Garrahy, and Lopez. It was a 12 issue series that ran concurrent with JLA in '98. Maybe I should grab it and read it.
Although both writers are far too prolific to be any one thing, including always being different from each other — Waid’s INDESTRUCTIBLE HULK and Millar’s STARLIGHT could easily fit into the other writers’ catalogues if you squint a little
Today I read a comic about a pack of supervillains who killed off all the good guys and took over the world. My goodness. Who ever heard of such a thing?
Here begins a thread on Mark Waid and Barry Kitson’s EMPIRE & Mark Millar and JG Jones’ WANTED
Marvels Snapshots Captain Marvel by @MarkWaid @claireroe @SpicerColor @JoeCaramagna #DarrenShan #KatGregorowicz @TomBrevoort & @KurtBusiek is a beautifully written and drawn story with an excellent message. I think Mr. Waid really captures Ms. Marvel too. Bravo, y’all.
Si vous voulez lire des comics avec Monica Rambeau, vous pouvez la retrouver avec Wanda, Vision mais aussi Rocket, Hawkeye, l'immortel Hulk ou Conan le Barbare dans AVENGERS : NO ROAD HOME !

JLA #18: https://t.co/1MbSqe52j1 is off, throwing our hashtag into utter confusion...but it’s a fun story nonetheless. Mark Waid scripts with regular series artist Howard Porter, which gives us some continuity. It’s also impeccably polished, as Waid’s work tends to be. #GMosJLA
It's an interesting change of tone as to how much humour there is in this story. Waid taking a different route than Morrison's more restrained humour.
Waid Cap run and Wolverine would be contenders, with the short lived Green Goblin as a dark horse candidate
