Metal Gear Solid (1998, PC): I played this game for 10 straight hours. My first time playing it and man is it worth the hype. Great story, challenging but fun gameplay. The difficulty near the end was unbearable at times, but it made completing the game so much more satisfying.

the gameplay is super solid and very intuitive, managing to perform the quick maneuvers the game takes its time to teach you are top tier plus its gr8 visuals

but, the story starts out pretty bad and then just kills your enjoyment the rest of the way down.
