A character development episode, which is often needed, but the Doctor is just painfully unlikeable in this episode. And whilst I do appreciate their flaws, Clara and Danny are kinda hard to root for here, which is a red flag in a character-focused story.

I remember seeing this before UY, and I still really enjoy it, despite its flaws. I had a bootleg copied from Hollywood Video, before picked it up on VHS in Seattle years ago for $2. It looked much like the manga too!

I love Dick Grayson because of his complexity and compassion. Hes one of the few comic characters thats been allowed to grow & evolve. His flaws mean just as much to me as his strengths. And,,, ngl,,, hes pretty fuckin cool ,,,
