Also there was a distinct background style difference between the studios at the time:
- Hanna-Barbera had a more graphic-design approach,
- Disney had a semi-realistic style without outlines.
- Fleischer had a hyper stylized BG style with realistic light, similar to Pixar.
@Xytora I think it’s that coupled with how cartoony the models are since they were designed after the game’s 2D artwork. Seeing them mesh together would make that distinction impossible to ignore for anyone.
