I'm glad this year I tried to get out a bit of my comfort zone. Not as much as wanted to but I loved trying different things like painting, playing with colors... I'm also glad I did more half-body, full body and improved a bit !
I have a lot of unfinished pieces and here is one

Been using Illustrator a lot lately for some work & decided to make a new Baelik winter icon while I'm in the zone.

Once upon a time, I drew something stupid and posted it on tumblr, then randomly saw it again on twitter and it felt like the Twilight Zone. (Reposting from my tumblr)
Then i redrew it.

I don't normally draw sci-fi things, or guns and weapons, so this was out of my comfort zone. Probably looks a bit silly, but I had fun with it.

I like doing these challenges. They get you out of your comfort zone. My attempt at capturing lovely work.

I took something for my headache, it settled and now I'm in the zone.
I hate how art "zones" are usually inconvenient. I'd rather be home, ready to sleep.

But look at that linework. Loose and free! Yet still conveying the creature I wish to Woo!

Sometimes you need a helping hand (or foot) to get you out of your comfort zone.

I'm even trying to color things way, way outside my comfort zone. Like some old school Jim Lee

Reference for the Queen succubus I drew some time ago. She'll be showing up in the comic a little later (after page 50.) [Yeah that's still being worked on- haha]
She's an interesting individual to tackle! Certainly out of my comfort zone.
