Q3 I agree with everyone about the text being legible, not crowded, etc but another thing you want to consider is how visually appealing the text layout is. Here's some of my older comic pages as examples of what NOT to do with speech balloons.

I don't have much art from , but what I do have is one of my favorite commissions! These also seem to be a favorite among my followers. His smooth and rounded approach to paws is also iconic and appealing on several kinds of characters.

Voted other. Other as in wolf, as in wolf girls. 2nd place for, and one of the named, would be kitsunes (foxs). Certainly nekos and dog girls are great though, but wolf girls have a charm appealing to me (love Momiji from Touhou and Holo from Spice and wolf).
