Probably the most important comics for me as a kid. Introduced me to deep well rotten lore, complex and interesting characters/relationships, weird surreal tone/atmosphere and mature storytelling. Also TWD is why I used to only buy trades from image.

12. Werewoofs by Joelle Sellner & Val Wise (2021) - uses a lot of shortcuts it doesn't earn. Kids get turned into weredogs and help a proper werewolf with some family drama. Need more to make character relationships feel real.
