playing with this more today. It seems pretty easy at the moment, so trying to tweak it a bit to find that difficulty sweet spot. You can only attack with one card. So I dropped the deck to only that card. Now tweaking enemies. to see if I can make it feel a little tougher.

Spicy take: DOOM 64 is kinda getting on my nerves. Besides having way more puzzles, enemy placement on I Own DOOM! difficulty throws way too many Lost Souls and especially Hell Knights (as well as occasional Barons of Hell) into the mix, to the point where it's not much of a mix

was heavily inspired by Super Meat Boy, in the fast movement and very high difficulty. A lot of game design comes from classics I loved as a kid, mainly the Donkey Kong Country games and the quirkiness of Yoshi's Island.
