Kentaro Miura's "Berserk, vols. 24-27" are a return to form. While the previous 4 vols were rather dull, these 4 are incredible. The troll storyline is chilling, interesting, & full of amazing characters. Schierke is one of the most interesting introductions yet. Great #amreading

I just read the first 3 volumes of Kentaro Miura's "Berserk" series. I cannot stress enough how great it is. Looking forward to next volumes. The story is full of metaphors. The creatures & characters are original. The imagery is haunting & stays with you. A must read. #Berserk

So I picked up where I left off in the Berserk manga and promptly remembered how unsettling Kentaro Miura's artwork is. He's up there with Ito as far as nightmare fuel goes
