I'm calling this finished - this was a great exercise working from a photo to try to understand how i felt like simplifying a lot of small and intricate detail into easily read, more geometric shapes.
The Ovens is a lovely park, I camped there a few nights a couple years ago.

The valkyrie-esque design looked at her as a fallen angel. The swords mimicked the bones of her missing wings. The priest was a counter balance to simplify what was becoming a highly ornate look. Both avoided the need for walk cycles! Hiding the legs reinforced this idea 2/5

his first design was used only in concepts, for by the time his proper release came, i had wanted to simplify him for MMD.
the change was sort of drastic, because RYATA's character at this time was different too. (he used to be visual kei inspired, but later became victorian)
