Depends on the series. I don’t think every fantasy ‘must’ have them. There are tons of alternative magical creatures.

However, I personally love writing dragons, so I have quite a few kinds in my Flames of Kalleen series.

I know it probably won’t happen but more monstrous creatures and eldritch horrors in the Sea of Thieves would be absolutely amazing. Might be a little biased being an eldritch creature myself but would also be keen to see the chemist in game as well. Would add a nice challenge!

My main project is The Lessforunate Beings, a comic I started years ago then put on hiatus to redevelop. I’m ready to start pages for this but motivation is lacking. It’s a story about invisible creatures who influence good and bad luck in the atmosphere. It’s also depressing lol
