1/8: I want to tell you about my process that I've been using for my artworks before I fled my country. Unfortunately I couldn't continue this direction because I had to leave my materials and the printer there. I hope to return to this technique soon. Here are some of my works:

i actually do use something related for lighting, as one of the components! it checks for convexity at a few scales and blends it into the mix. left is a mix with greater emphasis on that- it's a bit like lighting on an overcast day. right same scene, with directional emphasized.

I've been chipping away at a small redesign for 2 of my favorite OC's: Arch Carnivore and Ivory Thero! The protagonists of my fighting game idea!
I don't think these current iterations are perfect, but I think this is the right direction so far!
