- messy sketch
- lot of erasing/liquify, try to make it a goal not to hit ctrl+z the entire time (usually fail)
- duplicate sketch layers so the lineart is more clear, mild cleanup
- set a background color, select paint/color relative to that
- draw minor details

recently revised my model from 2.3 to 2.4, adding stuff like X+Y hair physics, shirt physics, enhanced expressiveness in the eyes, mouth/jaw side-to-side movement and more cool new stuff alongside major hair edge cleanup
