Working on outline post-processing in
Unlike standard outline meshes:
+ outlines properly in proximity to (or even clipping) walls
+ doesn't clip against the object its outlining
- currently doesn't work properly with transparency
- no anti-aliasing

From what i saw from his posts the approach is pretty simple: apply solid colors that fits the scene/characters, keeping these colors close to the lineart outlines. You can see this as something close to oldschool comics coloring approach but also reminds Miura's watercolors

I deadass have no fucking idea tbh

I just look at references and let my hand do the work. One thing I like to do though, which I didn’t do on my most recent drawing btw, is make the outlines a darker color of the solid color of an area. The outline is red instead of black https://t.co/ZQrxY621xs
