@ZomaNSFW Hey, I'll gladly share my big daddy healer. Because someone needs to keep the fragile Black mages in check.
Always wears his Beech mask. Only takes it off for momentous occations.
The beech tree has always been associated with knowledge & learning. In Welsh lore Henwen, a white sow, eats the nuts of the beech tree & gains the gifts of wisdom & prophecy. #FolkloreThursday Img: Cicely Mary Barker.

The late Bird catches the Rays.
One good thing about autumn is that you can go out 2h after sunrise and conditions are still nice. Like this scene I came along yesterday. What an unexpected escalation of rays next to an old beech. See the moutnains in the gap under the branches.
@toadlett's 'The Beechwood Helm' is a visually enchanting and deeply moving tale (published by @QuindriePress) https://t.co/tnIxvs0tuO
I formally submit my entry for the quickest landscape sketch ever. Scrapbook page with bits of tape stuck to it, stick of beech charcoal, two oil colours and some dirty turps. Two minutes flat. I’m heading for the sketch olympics next year. Part two tomorrow. #sketching
For lovers of square art, which neither belongs in the National Portrait Gallery nor the National Landscape Gallery, here are two ponderings with oil paints, bits of tape and soil, and a mere scribble of beech charcoal. Autumnal, heavy on the pink, and free to all scrollers.
