As for an intro/outro, I would recommend a bit of video editing. That's what I did for an outro. Intro is just a simple 'starting soon'

I was thinking something along the lines of a slow grappler, kinda like BlazBlue's Iron Tager, mixed with Guilty Gear's Zato. Considering I have two extra hands on my back it would probably lead to some interesting gimmicks (the spikes open up into 5 on each side, thus two hands)

the Firestorm mythology would also get a Swamp Thing makeover. Moving him away from his unique gimmicks this one didn't exactly stick because I think the concept of two people becoming one hero is kind of a more unique idea. Still influential on later depictions .

From what I've seen, Shadow of the Wool Ball and Rise of the Wool Ball take a lot of gameplay inspiration from Wolf3D and RoT respectively with a really unique cartoony style and new gameplay gimmicks, learned about these very recently and I'm really interested in trying them out

Gagaga Samurai. I love using Multiple Attack gimmicks, and although they're far from good, they are satisfying to successfully pull off. I already played Level 4 gimmick decks, so when I heard XyZ Monsters were gonna be a thing, I was so sxcited to see what I could do with them.
