IMO, Ryuko and Senketsu's friendship is the heart of Kill la Kill. The final volume cover—the thing the show most wants you to remember—depicts them hugging. And that's not even getting into the Promare-y-like stuff that Nakashima planned with Sen. He's so important as a person.

For another poster, I sadly don't know the artist, and I wouldn't say Senketsu is characterized exactly, but I think it's one of the most sensual pieces of official Kill la Kill art. I *really* don't think Senketsu is meant to be Ryuko's dad....
