Like you can have things rougher or smoother, have it one-bit, two-bit or more different colours~

The Cal ones had a lot less deliberate pixels and were a lot more just me making broad shapes generally on a small canvas to make it pixelly.

Mino and Raya were more deliberate.

Continuing Menace from Queen's Blade. The edge flow addon is really useful for smoothening out low poly models. It's a nice alternative to using subsurf and/or shrinkwrapping.

Day 3 of Rigging from Scratch (3 hrs):
- I'm rigging faster.. I think 🥹
- It's smoother than yesterday but still choppy
- Realizing I drew my model badly & I wanna redraw but thats not the goal lol

Tmrw, redo from scratch again! I'm getting faster each day, so that's a plus 😭

Day 2 Learning to rig (4hrs):
- Re did all the rigs to practice 🫠
- Tried head movement 😵‍💫
- mouth moves like 😩
- fixed some texture layers

Gonna try to redo all rigs every day so I can get practice and make it smoother!

Bit of an update! Currently working on the mid-level detail on the face. Rest of the body is smoothed together now but I still want to work into a bit more.

Modeled the stupid belt horns and took a stab at the 3D model -> UV unwrap thing benni from kamui has a video about. (top is mine, bottom is pulled out of mhw) the pattern could use some smoothening but I’m p sure the scale is right

ANYWAY. DMC 4 WAS AMAZING. IT WAS SO MUCH SMOOTHER THAN OLDER ENTRIES. I LOVE DANTE. I LOVE NERO. UGH. IT WAS SICK. The series is quickly becoming very loved by me!!!

Small part of a larger image. 14 down, 6 to go. Of those 6, two are arthropods (which pose a bit of a challenge to draw...)

Went smoother than expected. I allotted a 10 hour stream for this thing, and wound up finishing it in 5-6.
