I'd say that she'd want to avoid anchor due to having to vs meta anchors (Khronen/Chizuru/Elizabeth) & mids where a mistake can lead to death & her landing the hit she needs is much harder. IMO point is her most viable as 0 meter fights give her better odds. Its tough either way

Anti-form - RNG Punishment for having too much fun.
Rage-form - Emergency heal with different viable moveset, but still limiting.
Dark-form - Idk, it doesn't count

I've always wondered if Maki's HR glitch was also restricting Mai.. No way to conclude for sure yet but it's viable. Imagine how much better Mai & her Construction CT could be without an abnormally high fatigue & CE drain.. She'd be a prized asset.
