In the Swedish tale ‘The boy who was never afraid’, Nisse travels through the Hulta forest to rescue his family’s cow, Lily, which was taken by trolls. Thanks to his kindness, he befriends a nymph, a dog, & a bear that help him defeat the trolls. 🎨John Bauer
