🍀🔸2 yrs since my Northern Ireland trip & drawing some #Wolfwalkers. Having studied the Troubles, I realize Mebh and Robyn represent that those who identity as Irish or British can unite in friendship, or at least find common ground and earn trust 🔸🍀
This day 78 years ago – 17 March 1943 – Éamon de Valera gave one of his most famous radio addresses:
“St Patrick came to our ancestors 1,500 years ago... It was the pursuit of such an Ireland that later made our country worthy to be called the island of saints and scholars.”
Now with 101$ donations, Dash grows almost 3 times larger that the period size! Now she's almost the size of the Ireland where she's lying on. By just rasing up her hind leg, she destroyed the Starlinks which just rammed into her hoof! Let's make her even bigger in #MacroMarch!
Fairy trees were portals to fairy worlds in Ireland. Therefore, one never felled a fairy tree —often a mighty hawthorn with gnarled, old roots —the doorway to fairy abodes. To this day, people bring offerings to these old & beloved trees. 🧚♀️🌳

Reaching into my jeans pocket I find several lighters.
So I was stealing lighters again. Six lighters in my pocket.
Must have been a hell of a night…
Thread: To celebrate St Patrick’s Day here’s a thread sharing some of the masterpieces of Ireland’s National Gallery.
One of the least known major art museums in Europe, the Gallery has an excellent collection of Old Masters. Take a look!
Its not much but heres the completed pages, its a sort of storybook and comic hybrid.
I based the characters and setting around a long forgotten Ireland.
Its not finished but i wanted to share it.

Day 72: The 100 Day Art Challenge... As a kid I had a huge #imagination & spent time searching for #fairies on a trip to see family in #NorthernIreland. I see what I was searching for as a #child... #100dayartchallenge #fairyrings #childlikeimagination #artistslife #365daysofart
Ireland is redhead land, but they were always suspect. It was said a redheaded woman could bring bad luck to a ship, or seeing one on market day meant no sales. As a redhead, that’s tough luck for me. My family is Irish, so I take it in stride. 😂🍀

I've wanted a Pokemon game set in Ireland for over 20 years, so it was disappointing to see the Isle of Armor stop just a short ferry ride shy of Dublin https://t.co/XoKqknCqwQ

So then I looked at the genetic maps and I noticed a strange correlation between R1b haplogroup distribution and the lactose tolerance distribution...I mean, look at Ireland...It's black...So I thought that these two things could be linked...
