I didnt actually change the colors too much but it seemed to help more by switching back to how I shaded by using grays handle the values first before adding color.
I'm pretty happy with this result for now. ^^
@ObeyMeOfficial1 hey devs a lot of us kindly ask that this blatant whitewashing of your dark skinned characters (Simeon/dia/mammon), especially from this artist, stop occurring! For a game that values inclusion of all, seeing this constantly happen is really disappointing and should be addressed
Something I notice some artist do before inking coloring and shading is apply values beforehand to figure out everything. tried it out with this one. I'll finish this after finishing coloring another image I need to color

recently i been using a bit of an tricky method but that i feel like it works better for my workflow
1-flat colors
2-make an new layer of an dark-ish color
3-make an greyscale gradiant to know the values more
