Been playing Battlefront 2 because I got it for cheap and it has reminded me how much I love the rebel aesthetic from the original trilogy. I love the feeling of "the space future" through the lens of 70s fashion. I also enjoy that it is all practical looking instead of flashy

The original Phantasy Star series (1987-1993) was heavily inspired by 70s science-fiction. The character designs reflected this too, you can see the 70s anime influence despite it having been given a late-80s twist.
