yeah i did another 70s pinup, miharu absolutely does not want to be here for this 😓 #pixelart
found out about this old series of cheesy cover song albums and was fascinated by the awkward pin-up photos they used, so anyway here's 70s pin-up Aki #pixelart
@Lemnon12162901 I have drawn something similar to this for an assignment I did a very long time ago, and what I had in mind was probably space battles from the 60s-70s.
OC - Claudine Pearl - My Serial Killer Stalker Who Lives Next Door.
#70s #70swoman #horror #HorrorArt
how many 70s anime/manga do you think gets traced for these 90s paper doll stickers in my country
pop art style seems to have less emphasis on the nose + prefers stylized eyes. With the preference for flatter lighter color+shade+bloom filter, it doesn't help to make the impression of flatter "softer" art style
70s-80s anime had flat colors, but they still had detailed nose
like for example, in the 70s,
character designer would probably give her a bell bottom trousers and simplify the clothes
her hair still stays tho
in the eighties, her hair volume increases, her design is still simplified but the belts are getting bigger
sometimes I wanna try draw "what if my OC was designed in the 70s/80s/80s" challenge I made up on my own
so I tried looking up 70s/80s/90s pop anime fashion since nobody wears those space mecha leotard with belts but nahhhh, AI images and """"aesthetic sailorwave""" image only
I've been busying with some schooling shits and haven't been drawing any doujin for a long time, but recently I got the urge to make a harlock comic about nature-worshipping occult aliens after watching so many 70s folk horror films.
@ceredolce I guess that's coz I put a bit of 70s dramatic manga style to it but idk
like yokoyama's art style is cartoony but it still looks dramatic.
on the old series, the art work that looks like mobs in world masterpiece theater or in some 70s mecha anime
the newer line up artwork are even more random, some looks realistic, some western-cartoon-y, and then there's 90s shoujo anime guy roosevelt
@JAGWithASnail > charma fujos who flooded gundam fanbase in the 70s (and dominating the shoujo genre)
The Beach Boys transformation between the 60s and the 70s according to Spanish illustrator @Alexis_Nolla
@MechaGirlOTD Not centered the entire game but the Near future chapter in Live a Live is just straight up a Mazinger Z or classic 70s mecha episode
did some 70s inspired civilian clothes design sketches for kory
@8270eth @KylleSebree @doodles clive, semi-retired partially-successful detective in the 70s, set up a one man accountancy as a hobby out of his garage. running for treasurer.
