It took me several years before I started to accept that a big part of me naturally likes working more stylized. It never clicked for me that although I draw realism a lot, my early influences are nintendo games and anime. It's nice to let some of that out every now and then.

The Astra Militarum (Imperial Guard) of has many historical influences. But with commissars, a disregard for casualties, weak infantry and legions of tanks, the Red Army of the 1st half of the 20th century is the most obvious.
