It's been a while since I learnt some of the basic lettering conventions; I'm now pushing to expand my visual library with the non-standard stuff.

For posterity, this was my reference: a page from the "Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy" mini-series, lettered by Gabriela Downie :)

Another before/after! This time it includes a touch of (punctuation) editing, and I also revised some of the dialogue itself.

I originally wanted a more organic font, and to go all-out with foliage on the balloons...but time constraints OTL

ZX Screens A-Z: Diamond Mine

Reason: At first glance a rather simple pic, but I love the lettering and the subtle use of magenta and the BRIGHT attribute for the rocks which give this image real depth. Also, just look at those eyes. Genius!

ZX Screens: Crimbo

Reason: Just a jolly colourful Christmas picture. Love the snow-covering on the lettering and the sky going from blue-cyan-white. Makes me want EggNog.

Frazier Irving X-Men. Irving is amazing, such a unique vibe to the art, and here he does everything but the lettering.

And here’s it without the lettering :) I can’t believe I’ve been into vocaloid for over 10 years.. I know I don’t do much fanart but even now I still listen to so much vocaloid and it’s affected who I am. I’m really happy to have fallen in love with vocaloid <3 https://t.co/XxKbUnrpT9

Reposting because my hand lettering is crap, and I spruced him up a bit.
