wanted to give older Iva a full outfit (she learned how to wear pants)
Studying for my ob/gyn shelf tomorrow - my last day of clerkships in 2022! & per usual, made a study guide of things learned over the past 6 weeks. I enjoyed ob/gyn - it combined some of my passions (women's health, longitudinal pt care, surgery). Looking forward to the holidays!
@charliemcelvy @ComicUno @PatShand @CharlesStickney Your choice of movies and the way you go about things I totally don't agree on.
What I learned in life, no way is the wrong way as long as they get the goal achieved.
Btw I'm watch the avatar sequel I'll make sure tag you when I post my review 😂
i learned to draw HANDS!!!
2014 vs. 2022

I learned that Wolf Erlbruch, a picture book illustrator whose work I've admired for years, passed away recently. Here's an homage I made earlier this year based on my favorite book of his titled Duck Death and the Tulip.
Today I learned Robert Florczak, who painted the origina Prince of Persia box art in 1989, had one of his actor friends pose for this painting - some guy named Kevin Nealon or something. Wonder what happened to him. 😂

Forgor to post here the Birthday picture I drew for MEW Horizon! I didn't have much time so this is as much as I managed in an afternoon! Still learned a bit more in CSP. ^^

these specifically just turned out so well likeness-wise i loved drawing ryan and i still do his face is just so shape. sculpting his arms in the last one was really fun as i remember - i think i started trying out a less flat approach to colours right here, learned a lot
🤔You think if Piccolo learned the hakai, would he turn purple 🤔?
When people say “art is a learned skill/talent” we mean that
~2003 vs 2022
#SkillNotTalent
2012 - 2022
I remember drawing oversaturated art with no studying done on color theory, anatomy, composition, etc. and just.. enjoying the process no matter how it turned out. Now I have honed more of these learned skills. I have improved ❤️

A lil morning emote work for Discord and other future projects, applying what I've learned about beefing up those lines.
Simple, but a good proof of concept I think? 🤔
2012 / 2022
I'm one of those people who struggles to be happy with improvement - it never feels enough to be "on par". But I've learned over a lifetime of art-making that the progress itself it secondary. It only matters that you seek to learn at all. #SkillNotTalent

2011 vs 2022
If I could go back in time and change some things I would. How I behaved— how I learned to draw. Because my art started getting progressively better when I stopped trying to be someone I wasn’t. 🫶🏼
2020 VS. 2022
I've only been drawing digitally for 3 years but during that time, I've learned a lot of skills and techniques and will still continue to improve. Skill is not acquired overnight, It is acquired over time.

(early+late)2012 - 2022
even within just 2012 I learned a lot and improved. It mainly happened due to being motivated and wanting to reach the level of artists I looked up to.
Now I am pretty happy with my skills but there is yet so much I want to learn!
