My #SNESfriday offering is the 1993 #beatemup, #Batman Returns. Based on the film of the same name, this game is 1 of my #SNES faves. The graphics & gameplay are gr8 for its time. Over 27 years later, I still enjoy it. A good nostalgia kick for us 90s kids.🎮#retrogaming

I experimented with these 8x8 pixel #SNES tiles a while back. Meant to be sort of an overworld with smaller scale characters/buildings (hence the trees are fairly small). Never decided to use them for anything. #PixelArt #IndieDev #RetroGames #RPG

This month we’ve got some great games - including:
Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Dungeon Land (Game Boy)
Mach Rider (NES)
Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
When a character is "married" to the ground, it's easier because you know what angle they WON'T be attacked from, if that makes sense. So the box really only needs to focus on three sides, maybe less depending on the game.
The SNES can do more, but it requires extra muscle.
man playing ghost and goblins both arcade nes and snes was a tough journey all i can tell from this is beating satan in my underwear was a fun experience
It's part of the Switch Online lineup. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. At least I hope so.
Unexpected Bonus Week concludes with the last Nintendo-published American SNES release.
THIS is the #IGCvSNES thread for Kirby's Dream Land 3, brought to you by @DirectRelief
I played the first course too much and not enough of the 2nd course. Or the rest of the courses.
One thing I'm curious about, and I'll need my older fans to tell me this: did you notice Special Tee Shot on the back of SNES packaging, and if you did, did you realize this was it?
If there was an underrated game man, this was it. Even at 12 years old, I could feel like there was a lot of though put into this world. The system had so much depth, it's amazing how much they put into that little SNES cartridge.
I hope I get to see this battle system again.

First appearance: Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (SNES)
The boss of K3, where the Kongs must defeat him in a snowball fight. In Donkey Kong Land III, however, he is fought like a regular boss.
