WHAT people have said that?!

WW was a licensing darling as of the '70s b/c she was featured in both the H-B cartoon & the live series, but—as intimated—the comic ran at a loss for decades. But the '80s licensing book AND all '70s/'80s Superero stuff featured her.

Love this piece by Alex Ross ⁦⁩ in the very late 70s 😁

Started off wanting to draw Ricardo Irving but then it turned into another guy whose fashion is stuck in the 70s. I've actually never drew Lupin, which is surprising.

One of the odder fan art crossovers, but also super cool & very badass.

I wouldn't mind an anime reboot of the late 70s/early 80s live action cop drama "Seibu Keisatsu", but starring Rin Natsuki, Nagisa Misumi & Saki Hyuuga of the Pretty Cure franchise.

By the end of the '70s, with tastes changing and new magazines emerging, Pelo moved on from prog rock to embrace punk, new wave and stadium rock. But it stayed true to its instincts: serious journalism and Spanish-language rock music.

Growing up in the 70s, by far the most exciting books in the library were the series. Great stories, full colour comic strips, historical reference & excellent drawings by a massive influence without me even knowing!

Headlander ($3.99) - a 70s sci-fi styled metroidvania where the gimmick is that you not only can pop off your head to navigate through areas, but use it to take over different robot bodies as you work to defeat basically an evil pleasuredome AI.
