Made progress on my project to connect all the bright stars within 10 pc with a planar graph (i.e. something that would display in a board game) with edges < 3 parsecs. By adding a number of red and brown dwarfs, managed to keep the edges below 3 parsecs.

I've been kinda breaking down how i liked to color, using Hard Edges on Soft Shades to make a kind of ... easy polished look... and decided to write it down for fun 8)

Getting some different material settings now, but still haven't decided on colors or pattern. Happy with the metallic shading though! Also a demonstration of why I emphasized the edges so much: the line art clobbers them, so gotta blow them up if you want it visible!
