For those on desmonds stream just now this is what I was talking about with not having to stick strictly to a characters canon color palette to make a drawing “work” color wise. If the values are about the same ur good
@booy4ren i usually mess around with colors and see what looks best with the lighting of the piece, then check the values to see if there's a good balance of darks and lights! ex. i used cooler colors to shade since there's a lot of red :)) hope that helps! :))
