Always Paint Batman
Someone pointed out they this painting was Batman to them as it stood in front of my wall of Batman. So. Always paint Batman

Much more abstract. Not sure it’s done. Really haven’t had much time to paint lately and am a bit rusty.

‘Alstroemeria 2’, acrylic on canvas – new work from Dave Sharps. Working from the studio in his garden, Dave uses colour and texture to represent the changing and dynamic weather and light conditions. The style of his work ranges from representational to abstract.

So...tried a traditional pour technique on this canvas, thinking I'd do an abstract. My type of paint was, near as I can tell, too thin and, to put it mildly, it did not work. Pressed foil on it to smooth out the colors, studied it, and decided to make it into a Japanese Garden

I did consider someþing abstract. In þ end, I went w/Lovecraftian horror. Still, may revisit it. Honestly had more fun on þ background anyway ;P

Congrats and thank you for this thread! :)
I'm Steffi and I love to draw really colourful pieces or creepy and dark ones. Sometimes my art is more realistic and sometimes abstract. I also want to get back into digital drawing again :)

May-d commission
First one done. A whole lot more to go.

I am both very productive and not productive at all this time around.
Feel like i can do them quickly, but due to terrible sleep schedule concept of time became abstract.

Same concept as my last post. Focusing on textures and flowing brush strokes.
It was really fun creating something slightly more abstract.

I swiped and there is a no filter version. It kinda looks like Thea in my style but abstract. https://t.co/p3VjpXYeRX

Like Picabia’s painting, Kandinsky’s improvisation is not entirely abstract.

At the center is a pair of sailing ships locked in combat, their tall masts appearing as slender black lines. Cannons blast as the ships are tossed upon turbulent waves.

Continued working the negative space and refining details overall. Feel like it’s getting close to finished.

Previous version, top, new update, bottom.

This is my forever evolving abstract. I walked away from the news for a while and started to force myself to concentrate and focus. I am using the supplies I developed for my faces here for the first time. I will go back into this, so this may still change completely.

Made a gouache-inspired portrait of a fictional artist from the 1800s. Her name is Aino Mikko and she paints artworks ranging from landscapes to abstract.

Thanks for the tips! Although I'm trying to go for something more abstract. This was my main source of reference with the art, and I feel like its a more interesting take on a hydrated desert personally, however I will certainly keep the grass in mind.
