has quickly become one of my favorite animated films. It was so much fun and endearing, despite what critics may say. And seeing as I have Asian family in Toronto that I’d see growing up in the early 2000s, the whole setting felt like a nostalgia trip for me.

That is true but I will always have respect for the Giant ape after his film was the first to have a soundtrack and it's beautiful stop motion holds up well I think both are important two different genres and time periods for films. I love both tho! 🐒🦎
