On 7 May 1970, 3 alarms were ordered, Box 3-48, for the fire in Lawrence Hall, a bldg at Cambridge & Kirkland Sts. Several firefighters, including Chief of Dept Cremins, were trapped & injured in a collapse but all were quickly rescued.
Time was 450 a.m.

I was shown a badass picture of my father and knew I had to paint it. The term "Hero Shot" doesn't do the picture justice. Fun fact Dad and I were drinking and goofing off and wearing his old helmets and I got to wear this one....minus the fire of course.
