Pidgeotto is a LOT more interesting with its weird feather crest and predatory habits. It’s equal parts passerine and falcon and I think that’s really neat. It’s also got a great balance of cool factor and believability as a speculative animal. 8/10
Helerrets are the most common salmonids that can be found in the rivers, lakes and wetlands of the continent. These medium sized predators mainly feed on the abundance of mollusks and other hard shelled invertebrates, as well as smaller vertebrates occasionally.

The Gaping Kilnneck is the fastest known dragon, excellent at speeding toward prey, or away from predators. Their leathery wings are stiffer than most dragons, built to cut through the air. It should be noted that while flying at speed, they cannot breathe their signature fire

As the rat king on an isolated island, my day is spent overseeing the activities of my rat homies, ensuring their safety from predators and supervising the collection of food and water. At night, I rest on my throne, ready to lead again the next day.

@origamiPete Dunkleosteus is from an extinct clade of armored fish in the late Devonian period that was the top predator of its time. Its teeth were just outcroppings of bone in its face, and it killed with the efficiency of a guillotine with a bite force of a staggering 8,000 psi!

@ArtsRends These guys? Pursuit predators of the isolated South African grassland. They work in nuclear family units, with A breeding pair and their offspring cooperating to bring down large prey. They have adaptations to keep themselves cool, one of which being there flanges.
