Such a boss is a trait unique to the Neotropic lineage of crocodiles and today seems most well developed in some specimens of the American Crocodile. This creates a link between C. checchiai and neotropic Crocodylus (6/19)

A small meter long herbivorous neornithischian known from 2 different specimens, its quite basal, thus the name

ALT: in 1992 Agilisaurus multidens was renamed as a second species of xiaosaurus, however most people disagreed with this and it has been mostly ignored
