#OTD 4 years ago we finished the 3-days recovery of Lancaster NN775 near Glabbeek. Research was done by local historians in cooperation with BAHAAT and Plane Hunters Recovery Team Belgium. I was asked by @CynrikD to lead the archaeological excavation.

Client was complaining to me about how many archaeological site reports focus on artifacts & processes, and not on the people whose lives were recorded in the strata.
He said that instead of presenting a site as a human story, we tend more often to spew out technical verbiage.
