Everything went well tonight and this is way fainter than Comet Leonard!
Stacked: 250 3 second images, 235mm on ND5500, no tracker. Third img is heavily edited orig from camera. Now to process another nebula!

Over the last few weeks I imaged the full Loop with the Redcat 51 and the Eastern and Western Veil Nebulae with a 115mm triplet. A modest amount of integration time for each using a 268M and EQ6-R mount.

Been stealing some more photons whenever the clouds disappear. This is just 2hr50m of Ha-OIII data on the Western Veil Nebula using the 268m and 115mm triplet. Offset the veil framing a bit so I could fit in more of Pickering's Triangle.

🔭Sh2 115 Close up and Berkeley 90 Open Cluster🔭 We enjoy the view of this area. The star cluster inside give an interesting weight and explain the tidal forces that modeled all the gases spread around it.

It's a good time to be an amateur astrophographer. With we are almost becoming cool people to know 😎. Almost.

Butterfly in space

Here’s 8 hours over 3 nights on the Sadr Region in Cygnus. Such a cool target. Had to go back and get a better photo of it.

Thoughts?

Decided to do my own spin / edit on the newest publicly released JWST image.

Not perfect because of noise artifacts, but definitely enjoying the clearer view. Third pic is my 6.5K res edit of the whole thing

I may not be able to do astrophotography, like I would love to, but I still can draw the beauty of space (also added a lil space cat)
